What is Calisthenics?

Calisthenics focuses on using your own body weight to develop strength, balance, coordination, and endurance. Whether you’re working towards your first pull-up, improving your flexibility, or simply looking for a fresh way to train, our Newquay calisthenics classes offer something for everyone.

What makes our classes so popular is the supportive atmosphere, expert coaching, and the sense of achievement that comes from mastering new skills. Every session is designed to help you progress at your own pace while training alongside a motivated and encouraging community.

We incorporate classic movements such as push-ups, squats, pull-ups, planks

and lunges. As well as more advanced skill progressions such as handstands, dips, L-sits, Levers and muscle-up prep.

It’s all scalable — which means anyone can do it, regardless of experience or fitness level.

When are our calisthenics classes?

We have weekly calisthenics classes, ranging from morning, evening, weekday and weekend, so there’s plenty of chance to get involved.

•Monday – 5:30pm

•Tuesday – 6:00pm

•Wednesday – 5:00pm

•Saturday – 7:30am

Equipment We’ll Be Using

To support your progress and add variety to each session, our calisthenics classes will incorporate a range of equipment designed to help you master bodyweight movement:

-Parallettes – for building wrist strength, handstand progressions, and L-sits

-Pull-Up Bars – for pull-ups, hangs, scapula work, and grip strength

-Ladders – for controlled climbing, coordination, and full-body engagement

-Boxes – for step-ups, jumps, elevated push-ups, and mobility drills

-Dip Bars – for dips, support holds, and core work

Every piece of equipment is there to support your growth and help you build strength in a safe, progressive way.
