200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training
Our Yoga Teacher Training Course (YTTC) offers an incredible opportunity to connect with yoga on a profound level, exploring both its physical and spiritual dimensions. All this unfolds in the breathtaking coastal surroundings of Cornwall.
Classical Pilates
Here at Shiva Studio our classes are adapted to suit the level of the students so both beginners and advanced practitioners are welcome. Chloe is a classically trained Pilates teacher and always provides modifications and adaptations to the exercises being taught, to make the movements available to every body and every mobility level.
6 Week Total Beginners Yoga Course
If you’re a total newbie and want to get stuck in, then we’re here to help. There’s no such thing as “not being flexible enough” (which we hear all the time by the way)! No matter your age or fitness level, we want you to feel confident enough by the end of the course to join in our regular timetabled classes!
Yin Yoga
During a yin yoga class a variety of props are used such as bolsters & blocks (all provided by us) so come along and take time to unwind and relax.
Power Yoga
A creative form of yoga; asanas (postures) are linked together with the breath in a fluid sequence. Join us for good beats and good vibes in this high energy strength class
Slow Flow Yoga
A gentle & restorative yoga class; taking time to transition between poses, focusing on alignment & control. Perfect for those looking to ease back into the practice or just looking for some time to relax & stretch.
6 Week Mum & Baby Yoga Course
Come and meet a community of new parents in a yoga class that can help you tone, strengthen and reconnect with your body through breath and specific postnatal exercises. Bond with your baby in yoga poses you can do together along with singing and massage.
Starting from when your baby is 6 weeks for women with vaginal birth, or 8 weeks for caesarean birth – up to when your baby becomes mobile.
Pre Natal Yoga
Pregnancy yoga encourages women to keep moving and supple and hopefully avoid or reduce hip and back pain. Suitable for all pregnant women after 12 weeks gestation, no previous experience of yoga is neccessary. This class runs as a regular weekly class and not a block.
Rocket Yoga
Rocket Yoga is dynamic and fast-paced with a structure that is similar to that of Ashtanga Vinyasa, consisting of a warm-up (Surya Namaskar A + B) before flowing through standing poses, seated poses, and ending with the traditional closing series. Just more fun, more transitions and good tunes! We offer Rocket yoga on the first friday of every month at 7am!
Self Practice Ashtanga Mysore Style Yoga
A silent practice – “Mysore style Ashtanga Yoga” or as we like to call it here at Shiva; “Self practice”. We simply want to open the studio for those who want to do their own yoga or movement but in their own time and under their own rules. It doesn’t have to be the traditional Ashtanga Yoga sequence; some rock up & practice Rocket yoga, some Vinyasa Flow. We really encourage movement of any style here at Shiva, to keep both the mind and body healthy. Be free, enjoy the fluidity of your body and practice in a room with others to vibe off the energy around you. We offer this every Friday at 7am
Kids Yoga Course
Look out for our kids weekend workshops!
Suitable for kids aged between 4-10 years. Kids yoga classes are so much fun, but also filled with building important tools that children can carry with them including increased body awareness, strength and flexibility, and self-calming/emotional regulation skills (via breathing and relaxation exercises).
1-2-1’s Private Yoga Sessions
We also offer private sessions for yourself or with a friend/partner or a small group.
We charge £55 for a 60minute session and an extra £5 per person.
