Nestled in the outskirts of Newquay, here at Shiva Studio we offer a range of classes suitable from total beginner to intermediate & advanced practitioners . We provide all of the equipment but if you have your own mat, then please bring that along.

What we offer

Classical Pilates

At Shiva Studio we do not offer a ‘beginners’ or ‘advanced’ pilates course as our classes are adapted to suit the level of the students. Chloe is a classically trained Pilates teacher and always provides modifications and adaptations to the exercises being taught, to make the movements available to every body and every mobility level.

6 Week Total Beginners Yoga Course

If you’re a total newbie and want to get stuck in, then we’re here to help. There’s no such thing as “not being flexible enough” (which we hear all the time by the way)! No matter your age or fitness level, we want you to feel confident enough by the end of the course to join in our regular timetabled classes!

Yin Yoga

Yin yoga consists of a series of long-held, passive poses focusing on areas especially rich in connective tissues. Postures are held for up to 3 minutes; a great way to relieve poor posture & tension.

During a yin yoga class a variety of props are used such as bolsters & blocks (all provided by us) so come along and take time to unwind and relax.

6 Week Mum & Baby Yoga Course

Come and meet a community of new parents in a yoga class that can help you tone, strengthen and reconnect with your body through breath and specific postnatal exercises. Bond with your baby in yoga poses you can do together along with singing and massage.

Starting from when your baby is 6 weeks for women with vaginal birth, or 8 weeks for caesarean birth – up to when your baby becomes mobile.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

A creative form of yoga; asanas (postures) are linked together with the breath in a fluid sequence. There is no standard sequence so the style, pace and intensity will vary depending on the teacher.

Slow Flow Yoga

A gentle & restorative yoga class; taking time to transition between poses, focusing on alignment & control.

Pre Natal Yoga

Pregnancy yoga encourages women to keep moving and supple and hopefully avoid or reduce hip and back pain. Suitable for all pregnant women after 12 weeks gestation, no previous experience of yoga is neccessary.

Tots Yoga Course (Ages 5-9)

Kids yoga classes are so much fun, but also filled with building important tools that children can carry with them including increased body awareness, strength and flexibility, and self-calming/emotional regulation skills (via breathing and relaxation exercises).

Tween Yoga Course (10-14 Years)

We like to think of yoga for tweens as their bridge between childhood and adolescence. Yoga helps them understand what’s going on, giving them time to step back from the everyday, and it helps them see themselves and their bodies better in the context of their new reality.

These tween yoga classes are so much fun, but also filled with building important tools that children can carry with them including increased body awareness, strength and flexibility, and self-calming/emotional regulation skills (via breathing and relaxation exercises).

Toddler & Family Yoga Class

Toddler and family yoga is a creative class which blends yoga poses and movement, stories, songs and mindfulness into a class your toddler will love. Classes are suitable from aged twelve months up to the age of four years old and their parent/s or carer and younger siblings are welcome at no extra cost.

Soma Yoga

A fusion of yoga postures & movement therapy sequences helping to dissolve muscular pain with movement, meditation & relaxation.

1-2-1’s Private Yoga Sessions

We also offer private sessions for yourself or with a friend/partner or a small group.
